This one had some really good eerie moments and some intense scenes. But the romance was a bit over the top and this is like my fifth Christy Barritt book in a row that I’ve guessed the killer. I might be figuring her out now that I’ve read so many of her books. Still liked the atmosphere and setting and thought that the idea of a Skookum (a Bigfoot-like creature) was interesting.
