Another great Joey Darling/Raven Remington mystery. While Book #2 was enjoyable, I felt that at times it was hard to keep track of all the characters. Book #3, Safety In Blunders, excels in a simple but satisfying mystery that does an excellent job of both teaching about the Outer Banks (a place I have visited many times!) as well as having an underlying message of faith and hope. Each book focuses first on the storyline but also does a great job of adding in aspects of God, a little piece of the time. Book #3 continues the theme of Joey's brokenness and how she doesn't feel good enough due to her past mistakes. But I like how each book is bringing her closer and closer to the realization that God will be able to heal her. Kudos to Christy Barritt for another quick and fun ride in a really good series.
