I like that you’re broken, broken like me...
Live Without You is a beautifully written story about two broken characters journey. I loved the dynamic between Ezra, a Christian who had once strayed, and Piper, a former Christian who has lost her faith. Secondary characters like Tyler and Miss Cecile were great too.
One thing I really liked about Live Without You was that though it was a romance book (something I usually do not read), it wasn’t sappy or forced. It had realistic moments and wasn’t a love at first sight type of book. The Christian aspects in the book was enjoyable as well. The dialogue was one of the stronger part of the book for me.
All in all, Sarah Grace has written a great novella that I would recommend, especially to people who either like romance books or just good stories that teach a good lesson that God loves us, scars and all! And bonus points for mentioning a Charles Martin book and Reckless Love praise song. :)
